  • Torque – The Chevy Silverado 1500 produces more torque than the RAM 1500. With its standard engine, the Chevy generates 305 lb-ft of torque, while the RAM only offers 269 lb-ft. 
  • Towing Capacity – The RAM 1500 can tow up to 12,750 pounds while the Silverado 1500 maximum towing capacity is a whopping 13,300 pounds with the 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine.
